First Mission

Erika rolled her eyes and walked into the hotel. She went up to the desk. "Hello. I am looking for this man" she said and showed the picture that was with the note.
The man at the desk looked at her tail before glaring at her. "And why would I tell a mutant like you anything?" he asked.
Erika growled and grabbed him by his collar. She pulled him over the desk and extracted her claws. "You will tell me or else" she hissed darkly.

"Erika." Logan walked up and forced her grip off the man. Logan looked at the man, glaring. "Just tell us if ya have seen the man or not. We ain't lookin' for no trouble, bub."

"Says you" Erika glared.
The man brushed down his clothes. "He came in a few days ago, he still has a room here but that information is for staff only" he said.
Erika extracted her claws again.

"Look, bub, we need to see him now. It's important. We're his family and there's a family emergancy. He's my step brother and we need to see him now!" Logan lied through his teeth but hoped that the man would buy it.

"That's not going to work" Erika muttered low enough so only Logan could hear.
"He is in room 38" the man said as he checked through the book.
Erika's jaw dropped. She retracted her claws and glared at Logan before walking towards the stairs.

Logan nodded and followed her. "What's yer problem?" Logan asked her once they were out of hearing range.

"My problem?" Erika asked, raising a brow as she walked ahead of him.

"Yes," Logan said. "Why did ya get all mad when my idea worke?"

"Because my idea was better" Erika huffed as she strutted up the stairs. Her tail was swishing in annoyance.

"Yeah, threatenin' his life like that. Like that would have gotten us anywhere other than jail."

"I was not threatening his life" Erika rolled her eyes. "I was mearly scaring him a little" she said.

"He still wouldn't have told us anythin'," Logan said.
(I'm going to try and make him like in the origins movie. Nearly all Mr. Nice Guy)

(Okay like the opposite of Erika)
"Says you" Erika said as she walked down a hall. "It's worked in the past and would have worked this time if you didn't butt in" she said.

Logan shook his head. "Ya remind me of my older brother," he said. "He taught me how to survive in the world, but then I started likin' humanity and. . ." he trailed off, sighing.

"Sounds like your brother has a better idea of humans then you" Erika said coldly. "You just let a mutant hater go without even a scratch" she said.

"Y would think I wouldn't trust humans after the thin' William Stryker did to me, but I was in love with a human woman. She was so nice, so lovin', and didn't care that I had mutant powers. She taught me that it was okay to love again. Her name was Silverfox a native Indian in Canada."
(Going with the comicbook version of Silverfox)

"She sounds different from most humans" Erika commented, looking ahead. "I guess you were lucky" she said before finding the door.

Logan nodded, looking down. "But somethin' happened to her."

Erika's ears twitched and she turned around. "What?" she asked.

Logan shook his head for a second. "I'll tell ya after we deal with this guy."

"Alright" Erika said. The door was locked so she knocked. "Hello?" she called and listened to anything. She heard light movement inside and smirked. "Looks like we have to do this the fun way" she said and kicked at the door.

"Could pick the lock to not attract attention from the other guests." he said.

"Where's the fun in that?" Erika asked as she kicked at the door again.

"Let's see, if we, two mutants, attracted uneeded attention from a lot of human guests in this hotel then they would send in a SWAT team in after us," he said. "Better to make as little noise as possible."

Erika rolled her eyes and extracted her claws. "Spoil sport" she said as she picked at the lock.
